You wiped it on a tissue. You ran it under the tap. You bought the little silicone mat and scrubbed it in circles. And the brush looked fine afterwards — because the part you cleaned was the part you could see.

How it works

• Before — the bristles look fine. The base is packed solid.
• Spin — clip the brush into the collar, drop it in the bowl, hold the button. The water turns brown.
• After — lift it out, spin it dry in the same bowl, and use it.
